Aeroe Tension Strap Torque Settings

The unique Aeroe attachment system, requires the silicon coated tension straps to be tightened up to a maximum torque setting of 4.0 N/M

These settings apply to the fixing of each Aeroe Mount product to the different positions, Handle Bar,  Seat Post, Rear Rack and Fork Mounts.

Tighten to no more than 4.0 N/M to provide correct friction grip without damage to components. Do not overtighten

The ideal tool for setting up the Aeroe products is a 4 N/M Fixed Torque Tool.

Initially tighten to 4 N/M.    The nature of the tension straps is they will relax, so re-tighten with 4 N/M Fixed Tool after 24 hours. Periodically check the tension to maintain the 4 N/M  while in use.

Silicon bike tape should be applied on carbon frames prior to mounting or on surfaces where additional protection is required.

For recommended weight carrying capacity please refer to the individual mount information contained in the product section.
